Beer Cheese Dip is made up of different types of shredded cheese, simple seasoning and a can of beer.

You can use different types of beer. You can use dark beers, light beer and even non-alcoholic beers will work for this recipe. Depending on the type of beer you use, will depend on the flavor of the cheese dip.

  • Flour
  • Butter
  • Garlic Powder
  • Milk
  • Beer (We used a Budweiser)
  • Dijon Mustard
  • Worcestershire Sauce
  • Sharp Cheddar Cheese (shredded)
  • Swiss Cheese (shredded)

How to Make Beer Cheese Dip:

  • Step 1 – Melt Butter – Melt the butter in a saucepan over medium high heat. Add in the flour and garlic powder. Cook for 1 minute, whisking constantly the butter and flour.

  • Step 2 – Add in Milk and Beer – Then gradually add in the milk and beer, whisking until well combined after each addition. Continue to cook and whisk the mixture.
  • Step 3 – Mix in Mustard and Worcestershire – Then stir in the Dijon mustard and Worcestershire sauce. Continue to cook and whisk until the mixture has thickened.

  • Step 4 – Add in Cheeses – Remove the saucepan from the heat and whisk in both of the shredded cheeses. Stir until melted and smooth.
